the call

As the vision began there were masses of people of all ages gathered in worship. The presence of the Lord was saturating the place. It was more than just an anointing; the glory of the Lord overshadowed everything. His presence was filling all in all.

And I heard a voice saying, "Call My family together because I am going to reward them for their obedience and faithfulness in the journey in Canada. Because they tarried with Me."

"Where would you have us gather, Lord?"

"Tap into the redemptive gift of Alberta, of Edmonton. Edmonton has an anointing to birth and to release the younger generations. And I am about to birth something new among the generations, in the church of Canada.";

And then the vision changed and I saw many fires burning throughout the land. And I knew these were the faithful ones who had been rewarded with a new commission of the fire of His presence. Everywhere they went, the fire spread - and I knew this was being orchestrated by the sovereign Lord Himself.

the journey
For the past 10 years a remnant of believers has been journeying together with one passion: to see the church of Canada become a resting place for the glory of the Lord. Step by step, the Lord has faithfully led us to remove historic stones of offense and repair ancient breaches between us. From a national repentance for anti-Semitism to a national reconciliation between French and English to the establishment of covenants of love among the First Peoples, God has prophetically knit together our hearts in new measures of unity.

Knowing that God can use an intercessory remnant to break through for the blessing of the whole, we believe any victories the Lord has granted us have been for the benefit of the family of believers in Canada. And because Canada's multi-cultural tapestry is a prophetic representation of every colour and tribe of the earth, we also believe that our breakthroughs are prophetic seeds for the blessing and breakthrough of all nations.

this summer
We invite all those who have been labouring faithfully with the passion to see the glory of Lord come back to His church to gather in Edmonton, AB, Canada from August 24 to August 26, 2006.

Together... we will worship the Lord and wait upon Him free of restraints of time or human agenda.

Together...we will remember His faithfulness to us in the 10-year journey of testing and celebrate His goodness to us.

Together... we will welcome the new revelation the Lord wants to birth for His family, believing God is bringing us one step closer to fulfilling the prayer of Jesus in John 17: that we may be one as Jesus and the Father are one that the world may believe.

Together.... we will lay down all our personal agendas and expectations and receive a fresh commission of the fire of His presence that He may send wherever it pleases Him.

His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.
