blessing the nations

Canada is a blessed nation and we as Canadians are privileged to be loved and honoured the world over. We know that this is a gift, a grace the Lord has given us, this favour with the nations. And as believers, we know this is because there is an end-time destiny on Canada to serve the bring healing to the nations by serving them to be released into their destinies.

For years the focus of the gatherings has been on the journey of our own nation: removing the stones and preparing the way for the Lord to dwell. The Lord has graciously walked with us and in this we have become a hope and encouragement for many nations.

This summer at the Consumed Gathering we are seeing the beginning signs of the fruit of our labours: the nations are coming to Canada. Currently there are over 150 international church leaders from over 20 nations coming to Edmonton for Consumed and also for a special international leadership summit which will take place immediately following the gathering.

For many leaders, without a miracle of provision they will not be able to make the trip. This is where we, as Canadians, can in a very practical way sow into transformation of the nations: by sponsoring a leader to attend the gathering, and take back an impartation to touch other leaders and believers in their nation.

Leaders from Armenia, Russia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Spain, Mainland China, Ukraine and France are among those needing help.

The average costs for travel and hosting of one leader for the meetings in Edmonton is about $2500. We want to encourage churches, businesses or individuals to sponsor a leader, either fully or partially, according to what the Lord leads you to do.
