Watchmen for the Nations is an affiliation of Christian leaders from many regions, denominations, ethnic backgrounds and spheres of influence (traditional church, media, political and business leaders). What knits out hearts together is a common passion: to see the church become a resting place for the glory of the Lord so that His name will be feared and honoured in our nation again.

At the heart of the vision for Watchmen and the gatherings is a covenant made by the first leadership team never to initiate for God but to wait upon Him until He speaks. And once He has spoken (released the vision) to wait again for Him to reveal His ways (how) and His timings (when) for the vision to be fulfilled. Our desire is to give God the pleasure of a unified body submitting wholeheartedly to the commandments of the Head, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Through the years the leadership team has grown from a small founding group of trusted fathers (Pastor Bob Birch, Pastor Jim Watt and Dr. John White) to a diverse group of leaders from throughout Canada, who walk together to hear God under the relational umbrella we call Watchmen.
